Packaging & Delivery
We package all our items with new materials. We are happy to provide potential buyers with a breakdown of P&P costs if it is a concern. Please contact us at query@edrives.ltd.uk
All items are dispatched with clear labelling including printed address labels to reduce the chance of mis-direction in transit. In addition we enclose a packing slip for client’s records.
Our 3.5" hard drives are dispatched in new boxes especially purchased to ensure safe delivery. Drives are protected by new anti-static wraps, new bubble wrap, new loose fill and high quality packing tape.
Our 2.5" hard drives are dispatched with just as much care, being placed in a sealed plastic enclosure, before being double wrapped in new bubble wrap. Once again our 2.5" drives are dispatched in new, corrugated card box protected by new loose fill.
Beware suppliers who deliver 2.5" drives in Jiffy Bags. Our experience tells us that drives dispatched in this way suffer from damage which can significantly reduce the drive’s working life
Multiple drives are dispatched suitably protected in line with our packaging policy for individual drives. Wherever possible multiple drives are dispatched in a single box. Occasionally this may not be possible. We will always contact clients to expect more than one box.
eDrives Limited use Royal Mail as we believe them to be by far the best domestic courier for smaller items. Larger parcels are usually dispatched using UPS, although other couriers may be used.
eDrives Limited send all parcels over £20.00 in value to require a signature on delivery and they are insured for a suitable amount. We will provide a tracking number prior to dispatch. All items valued at £19.99 or below are dispatched with proof of posting. Unless specifically requested and purchased, we send all parcels using First Class delivery, which usually arrive the day after dispatch in mainland UK.
If ensured swift delivery is required we can arrange Next Day delivery at an additional cost.

Delivery to postcodes starting with IM, JE, GY are subject to an extra charge of per package as they are classed as Zone 3 international destinations by Parcel Force. Please contact us before purchasing for current pricing.
International Delivery
There is a standard delivery charge for International deliveries. We always check with a range of couriers for delivery charges whenever we receive a request for delivery to international addresses. We send all international parcels to require a signature on delivery and you will be given a tracking number prior to dispatch.
All international parcels are insured and sent first class ensuring Priority Handling.
Clients requiring delivery to international addresses are urged to contact us prior to purchase at international.orders@edrives.ltd.uk
Dispatch and Delivery
eDrives Ltd strives to dispatch all orders the next working day following confirmation of payment. The majority of domestic orders arrive the day following dispatch. However, very occasionally packages make a break for freedom and take a little longer to be re-captured and continued on their way. At times of high postal traffic parcels may take a little longer to find their new home. Please contact us at dispatch@edrives.ltd.uk if you are concerned or have a problem.

We strive to provide an exceptional quality of service, answering e-mails within twenty-four hours and keeping clients informed of the progress of their order throughout the transaction. Occasionally errors happen, we will always do our utmost to resolve problems quickly and to your complete satisfaction.
